We're thrilled to announce the public beta of our Real User Monitoring (RUM)! 🎉

If you missed the opportunity to try out the closed beta program, now is your turn to check out SpeedVitals RUM. This public beta follows the earlier RUM alpha and RUM beta releases.

This marks a major milestone in our journey to help you better understand your website's real-world performance and user analytics. If you are comparing RUM against CrUX, our guide on field data is a good starting point.

You will get 30 million page views/month during the Beta Testing Period across 10 websites. You can simply visit our RUM Dashboard, add your website, and start monitoring. No invite code or payment details are required!

RUM Rollout Timeline 🕒

• ✅ Alpha Version – Launched in the first week of March
  Our initial internal release focused on core functionality and early feedback from a small group of users.

• ✅ Closed Beta – Rolled out in the last week of March
  We expanded access to more users and worked closely with them to identify bugs, gather feedback, and refine the user experience.

• 🚀 Public Beta – Now LIVE!
  We've polished the platform, squashed some major bugs, improved backend infrastructure, and added new features based on your input. This version is more stable, more insightful, and ready to scale!

What's new?

These are the new features that we have added since the last announcement:

State-level performance data

Now, you can check the performance metrics of different states. This can be pretty useful for local business websites or when your presence is limited to a small region.

The state-level performance data is currently available only for the United States and India. We will be expanding this list in the future. You can also contact us if you want to request the inclusion of any particular country.

Advance Filters

In our initial version of RUM, our filters were pretty basic. Earlier, it only possible to use the "is" and "is not". Moreover, you could only select one value corresponding to a filter.

Now, not only can you choose "contains" and "not contains", but you can also use multiple values in each filter. For example, in this image, we have applied the country filter to exclude both the United States and Germany.

Single-Page App (SPA) Support

Single-Page App support was highly requested, and now you can use SpeedVitals RUM on your React/Angular/Vue/Svelte App!

To enable single-page app mode, you just need to add the following attribute to your SpeedVitals RUM script.

data-rum-spa="true"

Easy setup for Drupal, Joomla, and other platforms

After our WordPress plugin, the plugins for Drupal and Joomla are now live. You can download the same during the script installation phase. We will soon be launching our Shopify plugin as well!

Third-party section

Third-party scripts can be a major contributor that can deteriorate your website's performance and user experience. This is why we decided to include a dedicated section for third parties that lists the script with high load time and high Long Animation Frames duration. The third-party section also recommends alternative platforms that you could consider.

City-level data

The Locations card on our Web Analytics tab now also includes page views for every city.

Fewer bugs!

We have fixed several bugs over the course of the last few weeks, and now the product is faster and more stable. We have also improved the product scalability to handle high-traffic websites with ease.

How to Set Up Real User Monitoring (RUM) on your Website 🛠️

1. Log in to Your SpeedVitals Account
   Go to https://app.speedvitals.com/ and log in with your credentials.

2. Access the RUM Dashboard
   Navigate to the Real User Monitoring page: https://app.speedvitals.com/rum/

3. Add Your Website
   Enter your website URL and click Add to begin tracking.

4. Install the RUM Script
   Follow the on-screen installation instructions to add the monitoring script to your website's code.
